Dora Porcaro Media Kit

Author and romance novelist Dora Porcaro

Author of steamy contemporary romance with sass, substance, and soul.

After building a multi-award-winning career in the legal world, Dora traded corporate contracts for fictional chaos – and hasn’t looked back. Dora’s stories are filled with fierce women, complicated men, explosive chemistry, and banter sharp enough to count as foreplay.

Inspired by her Italian roots and the coastal charm of her Melbourne home, she writes full-time while painting kisses on canvas and swimming in the bay – even in winter. She writes full time, eats too much pistacchio gelato, and considers Baci chocolates a legitimate love language.

Q & A

Q: What inspired you to write the Amore Series?

A: I wanted to offer readers pure escapism – sun-drenched towns, complicated characters, and love stories that simmer, burn, and heal. Italy is in my blood, and Bormio, in particular, felt like the perfect place to set these stories of self-discovery, tension, and found family.

Q: Your books blend steam with emotional depth – what draws you to that balance?

A: I love writing heat, but it only matters when it means something. The tension, the payoff, the longing – it’s all about characters growing into themselves and finding someone who sees them fully, flaws and all.

Q: Favourite scene to write in Amore Espresso?

A: The first kiss. Hands down. The banter before it? Delicious. But when Luca finally lets go – yes, please.

Editorial Review for Amore Espresso

If Gilmore Girls took a sexy Italian vacation, Amore Espresso would be the result – a whip-smart, laugh-out-loud, slow-burn romance that serves heart, heat, and a double shot of sass.

Francesca Pavone is the kind of heroine you want to drink prosecco with and then ride a Vespa into chaos beside. She’s fierce, funny, freshly divorced, and determined to build her dream business in the picture-perfect town of Bormio. But fate (and a meddling cousin) has other plans – plans that involve one Luca Ricci, a maddeningly polished, infuriatingly handsome Italian billionaire who could steam milk just by breathing near it.

Their meet-cute? It’s more of a meet-crash-into-your-lap fiasco that would make even the most seasoned romance reader squeal. What follows is a delicious slow burn full of razor-sharp banter, heart-melting moments, and chemistry so potent you might want to keep a fan handy. (Or a spritz. Or both.)

But this story isn’t just espresso-fueled flirtation. It’s a gorgeously layered journey of starting over, finding your people, healing old wounds, and learning to love yourself – while maybe accidentally falling for a man who smells like citrus sin and childhood dreams.

Dora Porcaro’s writing is whip-smart, cinematic, and funny as hell. Every chapter feels like a charming Italian rom-com with emotional depth, bite, and enough tension to keep your heart flip-flopping until the final page.

Amore Espresso is a triumph. Bold, brilliant, and brimming with heart – it’s the perfect blend of swoon, spice, and self-discovery.

Highly recommended for fans of:

  • Enemies-to-lovers with real teeth and real tenderness
  • Women reclaiming their lives and power
  • Flirtation disguised as verbal warfare
  • Italian settings that make you want to pack a bag and book a one-way ticket

So go ahead – pour yourself something hot, settle in, and fall in love with Amore Espresso. Just don’t blame me when you can’t stop grinning.
